This project was based on Soo Peng Hang Press which was the most important printing press in Malaysia, Johor Bahru that printed many documents as a legacy to many local establishment, they also survived the horror of World War II, witnessed the development of Johor and the advancement of printing technique.

The moveable type system of printing, which was one of the four major inventions that originated in China, is now recognised as a world intangible cultural heritage. The successor of Soo Peng Hang Press is still protecting the remain cultural relic which includes tools, printed matter, and printing machines. They cherish their father’s great stories, and hope to pass on to younger generation.
